Polish Weekend School ‘Kleks’ offers extracurricular activities for children over 4 years old. The goal of our school is to teach Polish language and culture of the country of origin of their parents. In the form of fun, we teach children to read, write in Polish, we present the culture, history and geography of Poland. Classes are held on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and are organized in 4-hour program blocks.
The Polish Weekend School ‘Kleks’ operates under the auspices of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
The Polish Weekend School is a meeting place for children, which in a friendly environment and under professional care have the opportunity to develop language skills, and above all to maintain multilingualism. In addition to language learning, we want to offer children art, music and, above all, fun activities. We hope to create a meeting place for parents / guardians of children, where they will have the opportunity to exchange views on raising children growing up in a culture other than the one they know.
Weekend School is supported by the “Freedom and Democracy” Association as part of a project co-financed by the Senate of the Republic of Poland in the framework of caring for the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad.
