Teaching Polish as a foreign language

From October 2017 our Association organizes a Polish language course as a foreign language. This course is dedicated to adults who not only want to learn the language, but also learn about Polish culture and tradition.

Polish language classes will resume from September 2020 but will take place on-line.

Due to Covid-19 we run Polish classes on line

Teaching Polish as a foreign language resumed after the summer break. Classes take place in Arklow library on Wednesdays at 6 pm.

After the summer holidays, the course not only resumed on Monday mornings, but a second group was launched on Tuesday afternoons. Those interested are invited to the Arklow library on Mondays at 11.00 and / or Tuesdays at 18.00

Classes, thanks to the support of the Wicklow County Council, are free.

In the previous school year, classes lasted from October to June. Courtesy of the University of Silesia in Katowice, participants received textbooks for learning Polish “Good morning”. The course organizers funded Polish-English phrasebook for the participants.
